Abundantly available forest based products like leaves of Bauhinia Vahill – Maloo Creeper ( Seali Leaf ) is used to make Bio-degradable leaf plates . Raw Leaves are collected from the forest by the rural women or men. Leaves are dried in sun or shade . Initially the leaves are stitched on duly modified stitching machine to get a desired shape and size of 14” diameter . PE coated craft paper corrugated sheet is placed at the bottom of the same sized thread stitched leaf dish and pressed at 120 degree centigrade heated die for 15 seconds to obtain the desired shape .
The round shape plates are 11.5 inch dimension .The weight of each plate is only 60 grams and weighing capacity is 1500 grams. The plates are air tightened as 20 pieces per pack with one Silica Gel packet in each pack. They are then packed in Carton boxes as per customer requirements.
